One aspect of photography is its definitive and static kind of representation -- it "FIXES" something, and thats what lures me to this medium; the static character of the photograph enables me to fix a fleeting moment in a landscape which have emotional paralells within myself during those ephemeral few seconds alone in a landscape, another influence ist the romantic painter Casper David Friedrich.

The specific light, colour tones, contours of a cloud or hill, subtile harmonies and the asymmetry of leaping water are inspirational elements for me; they evoke m in turn aspects of the human body.

Nature is a model from beauty and complexity in one, from a traditional perspective; "THE" first, original, material complexity.

In my recent work i am looking to find relations in detail between the landscape and the human form.

Harmony and symmetry underline the idea of beauty.

The experience of beauty is always associated with HOPE; and hope is like Stendahl said: a "PROMISE OF FORTUNE".

Things dont have to stay like they are; There is a possibility to transform them.
